The group unfortunately didn’t do very much documenting, but what they produced bristled with energy and was greatly superior to very much free of charge or spontaneously produced material. The complete roster of Leo Smith, Anthony Braxton, Leroy Jenkins, Muhal Richard Abrams, Richard Davis, and Steve McCall would continue to make main contributions towards the music in the ’70s.
