Crash Rickshaw

Crash Rickshaw is a Christian punk part task for bassist Steve Dail and drummer Alex Albert from Task 86, however the frontman and lyricist is singer/guitarist Joby Harris, formerly an associate of Phatso, the Moodswingers, and Rainy Day time. Dail and Albert understood Harris within a Task 86 opening music group, and had remained with him in Burbank while documenting their first recording; the three discussed collaborating, so when Task 86 took a rest, they decided it had been time. Influenced not merely by melodic punk but also the more difficult noises of emocore rings like Fugazi and SUNSHINEY DAY PROPERTY, Crash Rickshaw documented a demonstration tape and instantly sparked curiosity from Teeth & Nail Information. The trio came into a Burbank studio room to record their debut recording with maker Bryan Jerden, child of hard rock and roll maker Dave Jerden; entitled just Crash Rickshaw, it had been released in past due summer 2001.
