Biography
Craig Leon was created in Miami, FL, and exposed a studio room there when he was barely away from senior high school to record regional rings while he fiddled along with his very own compositions. Nonetheless it wasn’t until Sire information co-founder Richard Gottehrer brought the Climax Blues Music group to Florida to accomplish pre-production on the 1974 release Feeling of Path that Leon’s profession really started. The timing was impeccable, as Leon arrived in NY just with time to start to see the punk picture in the bowery of Manhattan’s Decrease East Aspect explode. Getting a Ramones gig one evening, Leon fell deeply in love with the group’s stripped down audio and greaser appear and in just a matter of weeks was generating the group’s debut.
