Originally going from the name Nocta, Swedish guitarists/bassists SOMEONE IN PARTICULAR and Joakim, drummer Daniel, and session vocalist Björn Pettersson changed their band name to Craft in 1999, likely to prove that they might shower terror, blood, guts, and equal-opportunity hatred upon humanity with just as much conviction because so many some of their even more notorious Norwegian neighbors. Actually, 1999’s Total Eclipse demonstration, 2000’s Total Spirit Rape, 2002’s Terror Propaganda, and 2005’s aptly descriptive parting shot Fuck the World all contained plenty of primal, old-school dark metallic misanthropy to fill up many a profession much longer than Craft’s.
