Crackjaw

German hard rock-band Crackjaw released an individual album for neighborhood label Steamhammer Information in 1985, but didn’t use this being a start pad to an effective mainstream career. This is disappointing, because the musicianship and songwriting shown by Stephen Kiergerl (vocals), Holger Eckstein (electric guitar), Jurgen Schulz (electric guitar), Gerriot Eisenmenger (bass) and Markus Klinke (drums) on PARTICULAR DATE was excellent. Beyond Germany as well as other central Western european territories the group’s expertly performed melodic hooks hardly ever translated into product sales and by the next year Crackjaw acquired folded.
