Cover Drive

A four-member pop group from Barbados, Cover Get features Thomas-Ray “T-Ray” Armstrong (drums), Jamar Harding (bass), Barry “Bar-Man” Hill (guitars, keyboards), and Amanda Reifer (vocals). Soon after forming this year 2010, Cover Drive agreed upon with Polydor U.K. subsidiary Global Talent. Their initial one, “Lick Ya Down,” premiered in 2011, made by J.R. Rotem (Rihanna’s “SOS,” Sean Kingston’s “Gorgeous Young ladies,” Jason Derulo’s “Whatcha State”), and reached the very best Ten from the U.K. singles graph. A follow-up one, the Quiz & Larossi-produced “Twilight,” premiered in early 2012 and topped the U.K. graph. Both singles, both which had been co-written by associates of the group, predated the 2012 record Bajan Style.
