Country Funk

Though Nation Funk’s brief lifetime came through the 1st flowering of country-rock, the band’s music mirrored psychedelia, hard rock, and blue-eyed R&B just as much as rootsy Nashville sounds. While frequently cited within the Boston rock and roll scene from the past due ’60s, Nation Funk 1st came collectively in LA, CA, where songwriters and longtime close friends Adam Taylor (who performed lead acoustic guitar) and Hal Paris (tempo acoustic guitar and piano) fulfilled up with the tempo portion of Jeff Lockwood (bass) and Joe Pfeifer (drums) and created a music group in 1968.
