Counterparts

A fierce hardcore music group who’ve won an evergrowing audience for his or her relentless, technically precise attack, Counterparts were formed in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 2007. Originally referred to as Brigade, the group was created by vocalist Brendan Murphy, guitarists Jesse Doreen and Curtis Washik, bassist Eric Bazinet, and drummer Ryan Juntilla. The music group was also briefly referred to as Sharia before implementing the name Counterparts, plus they started playing thoroughly around Ontario. In ’09 2009, Washik still left the group, with Alex Re moving in as their brand-new guitarist, and Counterparts lay out on a challenging cross-Canadian tour. In ’09 2009, Counterparts agreed upon using the Canadian punk label Verona Information, who released the band’s debut record, Prophets, this year 2010. Also this year 2010, Juntilla still left Counterparts, with Chris Needham overtaking on drums, as well as the music group lower a split-EP with Exalt. Pursuing lots of street function in Canada and america, Counterparts struck a cope with the American 3rd party label Victory Information in 2011, and started focus on their second record. During the periods, Needham still left the music group, and Juntilla came back to his place behind the drum package. Counterparts’ initial record for Victory, THE EXISTING Will Carry Us, made an appearance in nov 2011, as soon as again the music group strike the street. By enough time the tour strike Canada, Juntilla got once more parted methods with Counterparts, and Kyle Brownlee from the deathcore group Majesty sat in on the highway; in 2012, it had been announced that Kelly Bilan of I Am Committing a Sin was today Counterparts’ formal drummer. In July 2013, the music group returned using their third full-length record, The Difference Between Hell and House, and following the 1st rounds of touring, Re announced he’d become playing his last display with Counterparts in Dec 2013.
