Descended from an extended type of griots (compliment singers), Coumba Gawlo Seck provides continued to go after the tribal root base of her music. A graduate of ECMT Martin Luther Ruler (Dakar University), Seck provides provided music for many productions by Teatro Country wide Daniel Sorano. Her overall performance at Telefood 98, in Dakar, was transmit internationally in 1998. The next 12 months, she received a fresh Talent/Vocalist award at Kora ’99.
