Cosmo Sheldrake

An British multi-instrumentalist, composer, and maker, Cosmo Sheldrake’s penchant for crafting quirky, loop-driven sound collages, inspirational and frequently non-sensical lyrics, and saving found items in uncommon environments, invokes THEY COULD BE Giants by method of Syd Barrett. Working having a kitchen sink-style musical arsenal which includes banjo, loop train station, keyboards, dual bass, drums, cent whistle, sousaphone, and accordion, merely to name several, Sheldrake offers performed both regionally and internationally, touring like a single artist and to get like-minded pop provocateurs like Johnny Flynn, the Sussex Wit, as well as the Mild Mystics. In 2013 he journeyed to NEW YORK and performed at a TEDx event, and afterwards examined vocal improvisation with Bobby McFerrin. A calendar year afterwards he released his debut one, “The Moss,” via Transgressive Information. His much expected debut EP, Pelicans We, appeared the following calendar year. Furthermore to his function in neuro-scientific offbeat electro-indie pop, Sheldrake composes music for film and movie theater, and leads many music workshops and youngsters empowerment/nature understanding camps.
