Corrina Repp

Biography

Settling within the Pacific Northwest after frequent youth relocations, singer/songwriter Corrina Repp started her career being a musician because of a part-time work. While selling music group merchandise on the web, Repp linked to the Decemberists, who have been therefore impressed by her music that they suggested her to Hush Information. The label would continue release a her initial two albums, I Undertake Your Times in 2001 and it’s really Only the near future in 2004. After touring using the Decemberists, M. Ward, and Kitty Power, amongst others, Repp released The Absent as well as the Distant on Tag Kozelek’s Caldo Verde label in 2006. Placing her solo profession on keep, she and musician Joe Haege produced the music group Tu Fawning in 2007. The music group found success launching a set of albums for the town Slang label and touring through the entire U.S. and European countries. After Tu Fawning disbanded in past due 2012, Repp had taken on several performing roles in little independent movies and became a normal on the favorite Portland-based comedy present Portlandia. In 2015, after almost ten years, she resumed her single profession with her 5th LP Design of Electricity.
