Corndaddy

Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Corndaddy is certainly a group whose style is certainly rooted in Americana/alt-country sound, though there’s also solid accents of power pop and straight-up rock and roll & roll within their music. Business lead guitarist Kevin Dark brown played in several Michigan country-rock rings in the 1970s and ’80s and for some time relocated to Nashville, where he produced an organization with songwriters Tag Accurate and Ted Lindsay. Ultimately, Brown came back to Michigan and in 1998, he fulfilled up with guitarist and vocalist Jud Branam; jointly, they produced Corndaddy with drummer Will Stewart and bassist Jerry Hancock. The group released a self-titled debut record in 2000, using a follow-up, Better Times, striking the racks in 2002. While Corndaddy continuing to execute live, it wasn’t until 2013 the fact that group released a fresh album, Center of the problem, which featured brand-new drummer Hugh Huntley.
