Coqui Sosa

Nephew of neighborhood folk icon Mercedes Sosa, Argentinean vocalist/songwriter Coqui Sosa was influenced by his family members to pursue a music profession. Performing and playing electric guitar at an extremely early age, the musician successfully participated in various traditional events, getting an important amount at Cosquin’s Country wide Folk Celebration. In 1990, Coqui Sosa’s first record, known as A Pesar de Todo, was separately released and accompanied by 1992’s Viene Clareando. 1993’s Siglo de Esperanza was provided live at Buenos Aires’ Alvear Movie theater within a present performed along with Víctor Heredia, Teresa Parodi, Roberto Carabajal, and his well-known aunt. After issuing a live record, known as Coqui Sosa En Vivo, the vocalist registered to Epsa Music, documenting Clásicos & Sueñoperating-system. In Sept of 1996, the musician transferred to the U.S., playing at New York’s Lincoln Middle and Washington’s School. In 1998, his record Cuando Canto premiered.
