Home / Biography / Cootees

The Cootees were formed being a aspect project by Mike Herrera (electric guitar, vocals) and Tom Wisniewski (drums) of MxPx, bassist/vocalist Dale Yob of Ninety Pound Wuss, and ex-NPW member Jiles (vocals). Initially, the band made a decision to compose and record just songs about celebrations and the seaside, however they quickly noticed that their chemistry allows the band to create more genuine music. Their debut recording, Let’s Play Home, premiered in 1997.
