A significant force behind the Belgian hardstyle scene, Koen Bauweraerts, aka Coone or DJ Coone, began remixing and producing tracks at age 15 and first attracted attention along with his reworking of Blur’s “Track 2” beneath the guise of “the Designer ALSO CALLED.” After liberating a 2002 EP, Protect the Innocent, he became the citizen DJ at Sint-Niklaas’ Organic, founded the Dirty Workz label, and structured many Coone & the Gang golf club events. Among collaborations with Fenix beneath the Ambassador Inc moniker, he released his 2008 debut recording, My Dirty Workz, and adopted it up in 2011 with THE TASK and the general public Opponents compilation. He remixed songs by Linkin Recreation area, Steve Aoki, and Skrillex & Damian Marley; his use Aoki resulted in a agreement with Dim Mak. In 2013, Coone released an individual, “Madness,” that presented Lil Jon and discovered him co-billed with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike; he also released his third recording, Global Dedication.
