Cool Kids of Death

Cool Children of Loss of life, named following the Saint Etienne tune, are new influx for bored-to-death intellectuals, with catchy pop melodies, shoegaze guitars, and intensely cynical lyrics. This Lodz-based group was shaped in 2001 by vocalist Krzysztof Ostrowski, bassist Jakub Wandachowicz, guitarists Marcin Kowalski and Wojciech Michalec, keyboardist Kamil Lazikowski, and drummer Jacek Fras. The group agreed upon a professional agreement with Sissy Information after only using a home made demo documenting under their belts. They debuted having a full-fledged recording in 2002, Great Kids of Loss of life, wherein their requirements made an appearance — “Butelki z Benzyna i Kamienie,” “Specjalnie Dla Television,” and “Uwazaj.” In August 2002, Kuba Wandachowicz’s content known as “Generacja Nic” (“Era Nothing at all”) was released in Gazeta Wyborcza which, coupled with CKOD’s nonconformist lyrics, led the group to become characterized within a generation youngsters rebels. In August 2003, Great Kids of Loss of life made a magnificent comeback, liberating the intransigently atonal and raspy sophomore recording Cool Children of Loss of life 2. (It had been reissued the same 12 months and titled Awesome Kids of Loss of life 2.2.) In November 2004 the music group released their first British language recording, simply called Great Kids of Loss of life, which collected the highlight songs using their first two CDs. In March 2006 CKOD released their third recording Cool Children of Loss of life 2006.
