Havana-based Conjunto Folclorico Nacional de Cuba is certainly an area folkloric ensemble founded in 1960 by Teresa González to get and research Afro-Cuban culture, performing as ambassador while touring all over the world. Sposored by Cuban federal government, Conjunto Folclorico Nacional de Cuba documented Música Yaruba, internationally released in June of 1996. In 2000, musician and ethnologist Juan García Fernandez became its movie director.
