Condition Red

Biography

Located in Orlando, Florida, USA, the 90s rap duo State Red comprised Sir Tron and Gangster Red. They produced their debut in 1994 for the neighborhood O-Town label using the unsatisfactory Don’t Get Captured Slippin’. Tired, simplistic tempo motifs attracted from the area’s ‘bass music’ custom, did small to substantiate the group’s raps, where secure sex was a repeated theme (the record’s name also alluded to the idea). Critically dismissed, the record also marketed poorly.
