Concerto for Constantine

Before coming jointly to create Concerto for Constantine, the members of the Dublin rock and roll trio were currently veterans from the Irish indie scene — Tag Greaney (vocals, guitar) was the frontman for JJ72; Gavin Fox (bass) was a previous member of Convert, Idlewild, and Vega 4; while Paul “Binzer” Brennan (drums) was known for his function in the Structures and Bell X1. Though Greaney and Fox acquired frequently spoken of developing a music group together, their possibility only emerged in the summertime of 2007, if they both discovered themselves with out a music group. After recruiting Brennan for percussion responsibilities, the group performed RTE’s 2fm 2moro 2our in November 2007 and backed the Smashing Pumpkins through the group’s Dublin and Belfast shows in Feb 2008. Concerto for Constantine would make performances at Air and T in the Recreation area later that calendar year.
