Company of Thieves

Organization of Thieves are rooted in Chicago, IL, where vocalist Genevieve Schatz and guitarist Marc Walloch launched the co-ed indie rock and roll group after striking up a companionship at Union Train station. Mike Ortiz climbed aboard to take care of drum duties, as well as the trio created a unique audio that embraced both Fiona Apple’s articulate songwriting and Denali’s altera-rock muscle mass. Released independently in-may 2007, the debut recording Regular Riches helped the music group boost its pursuing in the Windy Town, and Organization of Thieves quickly graduated from coffeehouse gigs to even more traditional venues. Country wide press outlets required notice, as do Wind Up Information, which authorized the trio in 2008 and reissued Regular Riches in early 2009. The label released the band’s sophomore work, Operating From a Gamble, in 2011.
