Compañia Lírica Pópera

Originally conceived simply by famed Spanish producer Miguel Angel Arenas in an effort to combine the voices of lyric opera using the melodies of pop music, Compañia Lirica Popera are made up of sopranos Ruth González and Françesca Calero, tenor Ricardo Bernal, and baritone Beltrán Iraburu. Acquiring nine songs that were well-known in Spain within the 1990s, including “Y So Fuera Ella” and “A Dios le Pido,” and a previously unreleased monitor compiled by Alejandro Sanz, Compañia Lirica Popera, with help from your Bratislava Symphony Orchestra, released their debut recording, Gala Latina, in 2006.
