Comanche Moon

The author of eleven songs recorded by roots rock-band, the Defeat Farmers, guitarist/vocalist Paul Kamanski (born: Redwood City, California, 1955) provides increasingly drawn focus on his own band, Comanche Moon. The group’s debut record, Electric powered Lizardland, received a NORTH PARK Music Prize as “greatest record of 1995.” Kamanski is a fixture in the NORTH PARK music scene because the early-1980s, playing in some bands like the Electric powered Sons, the Pleasure Barons, which presented a Dave Alvin, and Nation Dick AS WELL AS THE Snugglebunnies, where he fulfilled future Defeat Farmers, Dan McLain and Joey Harris. His participation with McLain proceeded to go beyond the Defeat Farmers, penning two music, “Anywhere” and “Indigo Rider”, for McLain’s posthumously released single recording, The Devil Lied IF YOU ASK ME. Formed within the middle-1980s, Comanche Moon performed a lot of their early displays as opening take action for the Defeat Farmers.
