Colony House

Tennessee’s Colony Home make traveling, often uplifting guitar-based rock and roll. Formed in ’09 2009, the group started being a trio with brothers vocalist/guitarist Caleb Chapman and drummer Will Chapman (sons of CCM vocalist/songwriter Steven Curtis Chapman) and guitarist Scott Mills. Contacting themselves Caleb, they forged a shiny indie rock audio inspired by alt-rock legends like U2, aswell as more sophisticated influences like Cool War Children. In 2013, they transformed their deal with to Colony Home, borrowing the name from a flat complex within their house of Franklin, Tennessee, where all three music artists had resided at onetime or another. Colony Home proved helpful feverishly to self-release three EPs prior to the 2014 problem of their debut full-length, WHILE I Was Younger. They toured intensely during 2015, and extended to a four-piece with Parke Cottrell on bass. In 2017, Colony Home returned using their sophomore full-length record, Only the Depressed. Featured in the record was the one “You & I.”
