Coloma

Coloma may be the duo of vocalist Rob Taylor and manufacturer Alex Paulick. The Englishmen have a home in Germany and agreed upon with Mathias Schaffhäuser’s Ware label because of their debut record, 2002’s Silverware. They came back the following calendar year using the remarkable Finery, documented at Conny Plank’s studio room and in addition released on Ware. The record was an excellent headfirst dive into previously unchartered waters, a cross between minimal dance music and sophisti-pop. 2 yrs afterwards, they released the fairly organic Dovetail on Klein, having a horn section and many other visitor instrumentalists.
