Cody Hanson

Hinder drummer Cody Hanson was created in Plano, TX, but relocated along with his family members to Jones, OK (an integral part of metropolitan Oklahoma Town) when he was a season old. Hanson received his initial drum kit being a Xmas present at 12, instantly falling deeply in love with the device and teaching himself how exactly to play. He began a music group in middle college, but by senior high school got slowly began to lose interest within the drums and rather picked up your guitar. (Ahead of developing Hinder, he hadn’t found a couple of drumsticks in about 2 yrs.) Hanson arbitrarily met lead vocalist Austin Winkler in a university party in 2001, even though he was students at the College or university of Central Oklahoma learning business and advertising. A following jam program with Winkler and guitarist Joe “Blower” Garvey transformed most of Hanson’s upcoming programs, and he ultimately quit school to look at Hinder full-time. After getting the official quintet in 2004, Hinder inked a cope with General Information and released their debut full-length, Intensive Behavior, in nov 2005.
