Biography
The hardcore rap duo Da Cocoa Brovaz paired Tek and Steele, who together first emerged from Brooklyn in 1993 beneath the name Smif-N-Wessun. Debuting 2 yrs later on with Dah Shinin’, they instantly ran into disturbance from Smith & Wesson firearms, producing a three-year legal fight which ended using the adoption from the name Cocoa Brovaz; under that moniker, they released The Rude Awakening in 1998.
