Cobra

This US hard rock quintet was formed in 1982 by guitarist Mandy Meyer (b. Armand Meyer, 29 August 1960, Balcarres, Saskatchewan, Canada) and previous Focus on vocalist Jimi Jamison. Using the recruitment of Jack port Holder (acoustic guitar), Tommy Keiser (bass) and Jeff Klaven (drums) these were quickly authorized by CBS Information. Their music, a fusion from the blues rock and roll strategy of Whitesnake and Poor Company as well as the heavier, power-metal design of Vehicle Halen and Iron Maiden, was instantly amazing. Legal and contractual complications had been instrumental in the music group’s demise after just one single album launch. Meyer became a member of Asia, Jamison teamed up with Survivor and Keiser later on made an appearance in Krokus.
