A shape-shifting Los Angeles-based duo who infuse their breezy, western coastline electro-pop with components of hip-hop, indie rock and roll, and psych-pop, Coastline Modern may be the brainchild of Seattle local Luke Atlas and L.A.-structured Coleman Trapp. The set fulfilled in 2013 as attempting songwriters in the congested Southern California hitmaking picture. After 2 yrs of failing woefully to ensemble their creations in to the mainstream, Trapp retreated to Denver, Colorado to obtain a small perspective, and started writing tracks for himself, as opposed to the most recent tastemaker. He’d send out theses noodlings back again to Atlas, who add items of creation, and in a short time, Atlas was back the town of Angels, and Coastline Modern was created. The recently minted duo decreased their first solitary, “Hollow Existence,” in 2015, and it drew rave evaluations and evaluations to performers like Grouplove, Cage the Elephant, Twenty-One Pilots, and Alt-J. Another single, “Pets,” adopted in 2016.
