Cloud Car

Cloud Car shaped in the Detroit, Michigan suburbs in the summertime of 1995. With John Nelson on vocals and lead electric guitar, the group produced waves in the Detroit indie rock and roll picture for five years. With Jim Edmunds on drums and Brian Ringwelski on bass, the trio started by executing at several Michigan locations. The music group went through several bass players, including Dave Reinke, Christian Doble, and Tag Dawson, until Courtney Sheedy had taken over on bass from 1998 before band’s demise in 2000. The band’s initial recorded work was a monitor on Dark Sabbath, Quantity D, a Detroit-based Dark Sabbath tribute record, in 1996. A monitor on Gag Purchase: Detroit Stands Mute implemented in 1997. 1997 also noticed the release from the band’s self-titled debut EP on Sonicstream Information. In 1999, Edmunds still left the music group to become listed on Detroit’s Waxwings. Nicholas Pallos overran the band’s drumming responsibilities before band’s demise in 2000. Also in 1999, the band’s full-length debut, Very Sneaky Sis, premiered, once again by Sonicstream. Both albums had been documented at Detroit’s Woodshed Studios with manufacturer Tim Pak. The music group toured the East Coastline in nov 1999, and performed on the Halifax Music Festival. The music group was a staple from the Detroit concert picture, sharing levels with Poster Kids, Quasi, Joan of Arc, 57 Waltz, Pop Task, the War Work, and different others. Still in 1999, the Forchan/Great Gulfs of Nothing at all EP premiered over the band’s very own Plumline Information. Cloud Car performed their final display in the springtime of 2000 at Detroit’s Magic Stay, with Edmunds time for play drums on the few music. Nelson continued to create New Grenada, while Sheedy continued to try out bass in the People in america with Scott Michalski (ex-Godzuki).
