Biography
A local of California, Cliffie Rock was created Clifford Gilpin Snyder in Burbank on March 1, 1917. The child of entertainer, humor celebrity, and banjo picker Herman the Hermit, Rock was known for his battle to provide California’s nation & traditional western music into favour in post-World Battle II America. He started playing bass in big rings with Freddie Slack and Anson Weeks in addition to with other rings around Hollywood and Pasadena, nonetheless it was his focus on r / c KFUD and KFWB that brought him respect. Displays such as Protected Wagon Jubilee and Lucky Superstars, broadcast away from LA, allowed him showing off his several skills. Working like a DJ, comedian, performer, and sponsor, Rock won fame performing 28 radio displays weekly between 1943 and 1947.
