Clay Cook


Singer/songwriter, manufacturer, and multi-instrumentalist Clay Make is really a journeyman single artist and person in the Zac Dark brown Music group who have worked closely with vocalist/songwriter John Mayer early in his profession. Delivered in Georgia in 1978, Make attended Berklee University of Music in Boston, where he fulfilled aspiring songwriter Mayer. Both struck up a a friendly relationship and shaped the music group Lo-Fi Experts and documented a demo record. Ahead of graduating, Make relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to go after a music profession alongside Mayer. Collectively, the duo would collaborate on many tunes, many of which made an appearance on Mayer’s debut recording, Space for Squares. After parting methods with Mayer, Make relocated to California where he toured with an early on edition of Sugarland and finally became a member of his uncle, business lead singer Doug Grey, within the Marshall Tucker Music group. In 2008, Make became a member of the Zac Dark brown Music group, with whom he toured and documented several albums like the band’s Grammy-nominated 2011 launch, You Get EVERYTHING YOU Give. Like a single artist, Cook offers recorded a small number of individually released albums including 2001’s Business lead Me On, 2003’s Personal Serving, 2004’s Smoke cigarettes & Mirrors, 2005’s Organic Progression, 2008’s 12 months I WAS RAISED, and 2009’s On Hill Period. In 2013, Make released North Celebrity.
