Biography
b. 1961, London, Britain. Fontaine started her profession in her early teenagers, initially providing support vocals on different recording classes. She joined several lovers rock and roll trios, including Mellow Rose, One Like and True Tranquility, before emerging like a soloist. In 1981 she documented her edition of Bloodstone’s traditional R&B ballad, ‘Organic High’, with maker Junior Boothe. The music became a favorite lovers rock strike and was certified to a significant label, although with small success, as well as the follow-up, ‘Not really A Little Young lady Any Even more’, didn’t make any effect. Fontaine continuing in session function, providing support vocals for Keith Douglas, Tony Tuff and Ruler Noises, and in 1982 she became a member of La Famile, performing business lead vocals alongside Dark brown Sugar and Spirit II Spirit vocalist Caron Wheeler. The group documented the 1982 disco strike ‘Dancer’, accompanied by the acclaimed ‘All Evening Longer’. In 1983 she teamed up with Raymond Simpson simply because Raymond And Claudia, as well as the duo documented variations of George Benson’s ‘Convert Your Like Around’ and Jermaine Jackson’s ‘Heaven In Your Eye’. The previous was commercially effective, prompting a go back to the studio room for ‘Is normally It Generally Gonna END UP LIKE This’. Fontaine preserved her cable connections with La Famile, supplied backing vocals over the Jam’s farewell tour, and pursued a profession in journalism on Western world Indian World.
