Claude Tissendier Quintet

b. France. While learning traditional clarinet and alto saxophone at Toulouse Conservatory, Tissendier started playing jazz. His passions adopted a chronological route, you start with New Orleans music, moving through the mainstream into bop. In 1977 he became a member of the big music group led by Claude Bolling and in addition caused Gerard Badini among others. In the first 80s he trained in the Paris College of Jazz and in 1983 shaped a sextet specifically to recreate the music of John Kirby. Popular for golf club and festival times, the music group won many honours for both live shows and information. In 1987 Tissendier shaped Saxomania, a seven-piece music group offering two alto saxophones, two tenors and three tempo. Once more he earned honours and obtained invaluable encounter and exposure associated going to American jazzmen including Benny Carter, Friend Tate, Jimmy Witherspoon and Spike Robinson, with a few of whom he also documented.
