Biography

Previously referred to as Zaius, NY City-based indie pop duo Class comprised vocalist/guitarist Peter Green — also the founder from the indie label Twice Agent, along with the publisher from the fanzine Splashdown — and vocalist/violinist Leigh Tsai. Course debuted in early 1997 with an eponymously entitled 7″ EP spotlighting their sensitive, thoughtful acoustic audio; the LP HIGH GRADE, a move towards even more ambient territory, implemented later in the entire year. In 1999, the duo came back using the EP A Calm Life.
