Clarias

Hailing from Boston, MA, Clarias started with Mike Giordano (vocals, classical guitar), Joe Iafrate (guitar), Damian Gates (bass, vocals), and Jon Berman (saxophone). Giordano and Iafrate initial fulfilled up and started penning songs jointly while participating in Merrimack University. The group’s lineup was (generally) finished by 1999, which led to playing local night clubs frequently, and creating a considerable following with university types and admirers of jam rings (? la Dave Matthews Music group, Blues Tourist, etc.). Soon after the release of the debut recording, Intro, drummer Brett Simmons became a member of the music group. Berman remaining in 2003 while key pad participant Steve Giles became a member of up in 2005. Jordan Lipp moved into the lineup on drums in 2006. For 2009’s THE TIMES of the Escape, the music group got Matthew Ellard (Elliott Smith, Tanya Donelly) to create. Guitarist Paul Lipp became a member of the band soon thereafter.
