Biography

Little girl of Nelson Ângelo and Joyce, and sister of vocalist Ana Martins, Clara Moreno participate extremely early in children’s choirs in recordings for Milton Nascimento, Egberto Gismonti, Ivone Lara, Gonzaguinha, Alcione, Joyce, Cazuza, Teca & Ricardo, Bloco da Palhoça, Balão Mágico, and Astrofolias. Afterwards, she proved helpful as vocalist for Joyce, Nelson Ângelo, Robertinho Silva, and Aerosex. A single musician since 1995, 2 yrs afterwards she participated within the present Gets Bossa Nova in Tokyo, Japan, and documented “Só Danço Samba” in the Compact disc 40 Anos de Bossa Nova. Having documented three single CDs until 1999, Moreno opened up that season for the Chemical substance Brothers on the Metropolitan (Rio). In 1984, she participated as an celebrity/vocalist within the Astrofolias, with music by Antônio Adolfo/Paulinho Tapajós, on the Villa-Lobos movie theater. In 1989, she visited research in France, executing within a Joyce present in 1991 on the Théâtre de La Ville. For the reason that town, Moreno also performed single at the Resort Méridien and documented her first one.
