Clan Diah, shaped in Cincinatti in 1991, got their name when award-winning bagpipe participant Christopher McLennan suggested the previous Scottish expression meaning “the kids of God.” The choice rock band obtained local fame because of their demonstration tape and concert events, eventually documenting a full-length record, The Train Trip North.
