City Yelps

Town Yelps are an indie pop/post-punk trio from Leeds, Britain comprising guitarist/vocalist Shaun Alcock (the best Eyes Family members Players, the true Losers), drummer Valentina Brunetto, and bassist Ged McGurn (formerly of Boyracer). The group play loud, shambolic garage area pop songs intensely influenced with the Swell Maps as well as the Traveling Nun roster, plus they maintain a D.We.Y. method of making and launching music. The music group debuted in 2013 using a three-song EP entitled Crackle!Fuzz!Pop! No. 2, released by U.K. indie label Unusual Box Records. This is accompanied by Cheap Psych, a 2014 cassette over the band’s very own Horsey Music, accompanied by a 7″ one within Unusual Box’s 100 Membership Series. Debut record THE TOWN Yelps Fifty percent Hour premiered in 2016 by Unusual Container/Horsey Music (LP) and American label Psychological Response (Compact disc).
