Los Angeles-born option hip-hop/reggae/funk-rock designer Cisco Adler, the child of movie director/music maker Lou Adler, 1st caught the public’s interest because the frontman for Malibu-based rockers Whitestarr, with whom he released a set of albums, Luv Machine and Fillith Tillith, before leaving the group in 2008. He started dealing with rapper Shwayze that same 12 months, releasing an recording that boasted a set of singles, “Buzzin” and “Corona and Lime,” which discovered success around the Billboard Warm 100. Another outing released under Shwayze’s name, ALLOW IT Beat, found its way to 2009, adopted in 2011 by Isle in sunlight. While still dealing with Shwayze, Adler released a set of EPs under his personal name (Alice in La La Property in ’09 2009 as well as the W’s in 2011), and a couple of mixtapes (High Ladies in 2008 and Super California Lipstick Sexy Magic Dope Shit this year 2010). In 2012 Adler’s 1st solo recording, Aloha, was released by himself Bananabeat Records.
