Despite emigrating to america in 1975, Peru-born guitarist Ciro Hurtado has stayed among the finest performers of traditional Latin music. A founding member, musical movie director and manufacturer of Huayucaltia, Hurtado provides balanced use the group with single preformances and recordings.AS THE L.A. Hurtado’s second recording, Tales FROM YOUR HOME, released in 1993, was incredibly eclectic with music group arrangements, offering L.A. program players, two single pieces along with a tune, “Magic Mist,” offering Harding’s vocals. Released in 1995 by himself label, Guitarra, Hurtado’s third recording, showcased his single acoustic guitar playing and ranged from unique music to reworkings of Peruvian folk tracks and a bit by J.S. Bach.
