Biography
The Swedish group Cinnamon — never to be puzzled with the Canadian band of the same name — was shaped in 1994 by songwriters Jiri Novak (guitar, keyboards) and Frida Diesen (vocals, synthesizers, guitar). The duo quickly added bassist Samuel Laxberg and drummer Christian Ekwall. Their debut EP, Vox, premiered in 1995; the full-length Summer time Meditation soon adopted. The 1997 recording The Courier was along with a Western and American tour. The EP Many Moods of Cinnamon premiered in June 1999; the full-length Vertigo adopted in October of this 12 months and was released within the U.S. early in 2000.
