Cigarbox Planetarium

Shaped in 1999, Cigarbox Planetarium–guitarist Andy Charneco and keyboardist Deanna Pineda–plays self-proclaimed “lounge-bossa-tiki-surf-a-nova-spaghetti-westernish-instrumental-pop.” Both began performing instrumental covers like the theme from “THE NICE, the Bad as well as the Ugly,” “Telstar” by English ’60s instrumental music group the Tornados and many bossa nova functions by Antonio Carlos Jobim. The debut self-titled record of primary material premiered on Oh! Tonito in Dec 2002.
