Chuck Wright


After almost learning to be a cadet using the Air Force, bassist/songwriter Chuck Wright switched gears and became a prolific musician over the Hollywood club circuit through the later ’70s and early ’80s. He set up an early romantic relationship with Calm Riot, financing his history vocals towards the multi-platinum offering Metal Health insurance and its follow-up, Condition Vital. Following a short-lived task with drummer Pat Torpey, vocalist/manufacturer John Purdell, guitarist Gene Dark, and keyboardist/manufacturer Pat Regan, Wright became a member of up with Giuffria. Led by previous Angel keyboardist Gregg Giuffria, the band’s 1984 self-titled debut record fulfilled with marginal achievement, spawning the strike single “Contact to Your Center.” Giuffria continued to open up for Deep Crimson and Foreigner before headlining a tour of their very own in Japan. Wright was after that asked to displace bassist Rudy Sarzo in Calm Riot and made an appearance being a full-time member over the band’s third record, QR III. Calm Riot subsequently experienced through some personnel adjustments, and Wright became a member of guitarist Chris Impellitteri for an record. When Gregg Giuffria known as to state he was developing a new music group called Home of Lords, the very first act to to remain with Gene Simmons’ brand-new custom made label, Wright emerged aboard. He performed and toured with Home of Lords for just two albums before rejoining Calm Riot in the first ’90s for an record and tour. Through the entire ’90s, he done several tasks with former Home of Lords guitarist Lanny Cordola. Wright stayed an in-demand program bassist and a regular collaborator with Cordola on film ratings and production function. On the way, Wright in addition has developed a skill for computer-generated artwork, and has generated artwork for many CD packages.
