Biography

Vocalist Chuck Negron was raised within the Bronx in the 1950s, pursuing his abilities in golf ball — that he was recruited by schools nationwide — and singing, which he explored along with his doo wop group the Rondells. After playing golf ball for Santa Maria, CA’s Hancock University and California Condition University in LA, Negron was prepared to pursue his musical profession. He continued to be in LA, eventually hooking up with fellow performers Cory Wells and Danny Hutton and developing Three Pet dog Evening in 1968.
