Chuck Mead

Biography

Among the founding people from the celebrated alt-country quintet BR5-49, Chuck Mead embarked on a single profession when that group continued hiatus after 2006’s Puppy Days. Alongside becoming a personnel writer at among Nashville’s leading music publishers and developing the group the Hillbilly All-Stars with people from the Mavericks, Mead was also musical arranger and movie director from the Broadway strike Million Buck Quartet from its workshop productions in Daytona and Seattle to its works in Chicago, NY, and London. In ’09 2009, Mead released his 1st album using the Grassy Knoll Kids, Journeyman’s Wager; Back again in the Quonset Hut, a assortment of classic nation classics he documented at Nashville’s namesake studio room with unique BR5-49 manufacturer Mike Janas, Aged Crow Medicine Present, Bobby Bare, and Jamie Johnson, found its way to 2012. In 2014, Mead released his third single effort, Free Condition Serenade, which highlighted a stronger rock and roll & roll advantage in addition to guest performances from previous BR5-49 multi-instrumentalist Don Herron and Deceased Children guitarist Cheetah Stainless (the last mentioned on theremin).
