Chucho

Spanish pop/rock music group Chucho was shaped by singer/guitarist Fernando Alfaro following Surfin’ Bichos disbanded in 1994, who was simply soon joined up with by ex-República Gorila bassist Carlos Rodríguez and drummer Javier Fernández. The group documented a self-titled EP in 1995, released by 3rd party Limbo Starr Information. Chucho’s first record, known as 78, was documented after registering to Virgin in 1997; the record includes “Un Detonador EMX-3,” that was featured within the film soundtrack of Alejandro Amenabar’s Abre Los Ojos. 78, voted Greatest Record of the entire year by Rock and roll de Luxe mag, was accompanied by an EP known as Sal. After guitarist Miguel Gascón became a member of in, the music group documented Tejido de Felicidad, made by ex-Negu Gorriak Kaki Arkarazo, released by Virgin in 1999. Vocalist Isabel León and regional musician Emilio Abengoza teamed up with Chucho to create 2001’s Los Diarios de Petróleo.
