Biography
San Francisco-based multimedia designer Christopher Willits studied visible arts in the Kansas Town Artwork Institute and earned a master’s level in digital music at Mills University. By 2006, he released a small number of albums credited exclusively to him — including 2002’s Pollen and Folding, as well as the Tea, in addition to 2006’s even more song-oriented Surf Limitations — furthermore to varied collaborations. He offers documented with Flössin (offering Child 606 and Hella’s Zach Hill), North Valley Unconscious Orchestra (with Medicine’s Brad Laner), and Taylor Deupree. His produces after Surf Limitations possess included 2007’s Hearing Garden (documented with Deupree, created for low-volume outdoor hearing) and Sea Open fire (with Ryuichi Sakamoto), 2010’s Tiger Blossom Circle Sunlight, and 2012’s Old Long term (with Sakamoto). In 2014, Willits came back with the media piece Starting on Ghostly International.
