Christine Kane

Christine Kane started her music career like a great many other youthful struggling performers: performing in regional bars, night clubs, and coffeehouses, and planing a trip to appear in colleges and celebrations. Many reviews quickly began evaluating her singing design and sound compared to that of Mary-Chapin Carpenter and Rosanne Money. After graduating from Boston University, she relocated to Asheville, NC. In 1996, Kane finished an individually released debut recording, This Time THIS PAST YEAR. It was in fact recorded inside a friend’s cellar.
