Biography
Christiansen began in the later ’90s in Louisville, where it existed being a aspect project among other bands, college, and true to life. Vocalist/guitarist Brandon Bondehagen, guitarist Drew Retailers, bassist Brad Magers, and drummer Terry Campbell had written a few tracks and played several shows, nonetheless it wasn’t before 1998 demonstration IN ADVANCE With girls that Christiansen actually began to consider itself significantly, and create a live dent locally. The correct debut, Above Lunar Emissions, made an appearance in 2000 on All Superstar. It showcased the combo’s significantly kitchen sink method of emo and post-hardcore, which drew for the intellectual, angular audio of Louisville indie combos like Slint and Elliott. The last mentioned group’s Kevin Ratterman was a guiding power for the music group, helping out using its demonstration and co-producing the debut. Guitarist Retailers left the flip after Lunar, and was changed by Praveen Arla. Even more recording followed. The effect these times was Emphasizing Function Over Style, issued with the Florida indie Eulogy in 2001. It had been a far more ambitious record than its forerunner, distorting the post-hardcore template with mathematics rock texture. At this time Arla departed, departing the guitar place vacant once more. Nevertheless, Robby Scott shortly joined up, and lastly solidified the Christiansen lineup. The music group rode solid hype because of its second record into travels with heavyweights like Hatebreed and Joan of Arc, and started focus on a follow-up EP. They jumped to the bigger and better-connected Revelation for July 2002’s Forensics Siblings! EP, and making use of their audio making noise using the critics, ready to get more touring along with a breakout full-length. That occurred in Oct 2003 with Stylish Nihilists. The music group rocked the CMJ Music Marathon to get the record, and toured that fall with Vaux and Vendetta Crimson. In the springtime of 2005, Christiansen transformed names for your Highness Electric. There is no lineup upheavel, the people simply felt a fresh moniker was essential to reflect a fresh audio they were focusing on, which the music group regarded “high energy intensifying rock and spirit.”

| I don't find Hollywood interesting, so I'm thinking of studying architecture instead. |
| [on his favourite scene in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)] I love the sequence in which "Obi-Wan" visits "Yoda" when he's giving lessons to the Jedi apprentices. At that moment, an image of the universe is projected because Obi-Wan is looking for the planet Kamino. I find this marvelous and very poetic. |
| It's such a struggle to protect your integrity and dignity in this industry ... they really want to attack your morality and your beliefs. They need you to give up a certain part of yourself before they'll initiate you into 'stardom' ... I've always been kind of a hermit. I find my joy in the little things they want to take away from me. Prior to all this, I took pleasure from being the observer. Now I'm the observed. |
| Ewan McGregor and I had very similar first-time light sabre experiences. We both burned ourselves! These things are hot - they're full of batteries!. |
| I wish they taught green screen acting classes. |
| I have two sisters and a mother, obviously, so I grew up with a household of girls. Maybe I have a greater respect for women because of it. |
| All I want is all what my mother wanted for me when she raised me - to be happy. For that, I don't need to be in a relationship. I don't need to have a certain level of respect. I just want to care very much about what I do and be kind to everyone in the process. It's important that I can feel that. That's happiness. |
| All my characters have characteristics I don't know anything about and that's the joy. Being able to justify their actions, and find sympathy in their wrongs, and understand their accomplishments. After Life as a House I took a while off and tried to remember who I was at the beginning of the film. You obsess, and it's exhausting, to lose your sense of self. |
| Actors are observers. They're trying to have an understanding of human sensibility. And how do you have that accurate observation if you regard yourself as someone of great importance? When you're the one constantly being observed, because they view you as a celebrity? It's all wrong. |
