Christiane Karg

Christiane Karg is a German soprano. Elevated in Feuchtwangen, Bavaria, Karg researched voice in the Mozarteum in Salzburg, where her primary teachers had been Wolfgang Holzmair and Heiner Hopfner. She continuing her studies in the Verona Conservatory of Music in Verona, Italy. She became a member of the International Opera Studio room from the Hamburg Condition Opera, and later on sang in the Frankfurt Opera. Among the assignments she’s performed are Mélisande in Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande and Sophie in Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier. In 2006, she produced her initial appearance on the Salzburg Celebration, and she’s frequently performed on the Movie theater an expire Wien, the Bayerische Staatsoper Munich, the Komische Oper Berlin, the Dresden Semperoper, the Royal Opera at Covent Backyard, the Opera de Lille, and Teatro alla Scala. Karg provides performed with Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Daniel Harding, Mariss Jansons, Christian Thielemann, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Jonathan Nott, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, and several various other prominent conductors of opera and concert music. Karg provides provided recitals at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Schubertiade Celebration in Schwarzenberg, and Wigmore Hall, among various other venues. She’s documented for Wigmore Hall Live, Deutsche Grammophon, Oehms Classics, and Berlin Classics.
